Software Applications or ‘apps’ enable an iPhone or iPad or iPod Touch to become a speech generating device. Messages are produced by entering text via an onscreen keyboard or using symbols.  The user can activate the message by direct touch or  switch with scanning array.

iPads are available to hire with apps pre-installed. iPad hire includes a support package which provides kimtech support prior to and during the hire including, but not limited to, setup, training, language system selection, grid layouts, symbol sets, help with implementation strategies and other support required.

With a support package, apps can be changed or added to ensure that the trial is flexible and meets the user’s needs.
