Discover AAC communication devices and assistive technology solutions tailored for individuals and NDIS participants across Australia. We specialise in providing low-cost, high-tech communication devices and assistive technology for hire, as well as designing and 3D printing custom keyguards for iPad apps.
Communication devices and assistive technology (AT) for hire
Our communication devices and assistive technology (AT) are available for hire by individuals and their speech pathologist and/or occupational therapist to trial in various environments such as home, childcare, kindergarten, school, hospital, playground and work, allowing for a thorough evaluation of their suitability, including function, volume, robustness, and portability. The observations and data gathered can be used to support funding applications with clinical evidence of the device's suitability and benefits.
We also offer the design and 3D printing of customised keyguards for iPad apps, available for hire or purchase. Each keyguard is individually tailored to fit the iPad case and the grid layout of the app's pageset, based on the requesting therapist's specifications.
At KimTech, we are dedicated to providing speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and their clients with access to hire of an extensive range of low cost, 'high-tech' communication devices and assistive technology to support trial and evaluation.

I also wanted to sincerely thank you for your service - my client found a lot of joy out of being able to be heard using the device and seems a lot more hopeful for his future knowing that there are suitable technologies to help him.

Kim offers an extraordinary service that we were so lucky to find. Kim was able to offer extensive knowledge on all things AAC device related and sent me all the information and links I needed before I even ordered anything. Kim was able to custom make us a keyguard which ultimately saved me from getting me a really heavy AAC device which we did not want to commit to at this stage. The keyguard was a perfect fit, can easily come on and off compared to the ones on dedicated devices, and arrived promptly and was incredibly reasonably priced. We are incredibly grateful for all your help! Thank you!
