  • Can I extend my hire period?

    Yes, you can extend your hire period. You will receive an email reminder a few days before your hire end date, and you can request an extension at that time.

  • What types of equipment do you offer for hire?

    We offer a wide range of equipment, including:

    • Communication devices
    • Switches and switch interfaces
    • Switch toys
    • Alternative keyboards and mice
    • Portable mounting systems
    • And more

    You can browse our full selection in our online library. If you have any specific requests, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.

  • How do I place an order for equipment hire?

    You can place an order through our website by completing the equipment hire request form. You can contact us if you have any questions or if you need assistance.

  • How much does it cost?

    A monthly fee is charged for each hire, which can be funded through your NDIS plan, insurance, or aged care package. The fee varies depending on the item and is listed in our library. Additionally, there is a $50 return package and delivery fee.

    Some equipment items require setup. For example, iPads with apps need resetting between hires to ensure data privacy, as well as installing updates, apps, purchasing and installing voices, and setting up page sets and grid layouts. We typically charge one hour of therapy time for setting up the iPad for hire.

    You will always receive a quote to review and sign before the commencement of the hire.

  • Damage and Repairs

    We take every precaution to ensure that the equipment is securely packaged for transit, and we provide appropriate protection for each item. For example, we use rugged iPad cases, anticipating that they may be dropped during the trial period so that the user can access their communication device wherever they are.

    If any damage occurs to an item while on hire, don't worry—we cover all maintenance and repairs. Simply notify us, and we will arrange a replacement and have the damaged item returned to us for repair.

  • How long does it take to receive an item?

    The wait time to receive your item is typically 1-2 weeks, depending on the item. We will send it to you via courier, and we can deliver anywhere in Australia. You are welcome to borrow as many items as you like!
